Pics in post #14
After letting my Brembo BBk's and H&R coilovers sit in the floor for almost a year I've taken some "me" time to install them. I've rounded up a new set of SSR GT-3s to replace my old ones. After doing some test fitting I've found that I need a minimum of 5mm spacers in the rear and 15mm in the front for the wheels to clear the calipers (allowing 3mm clearance per brembo recomendation). I was hoping to find some pictures of different spacer combonations on the front wheels before I ordered mine. I do not like the streched/ aggressive look and only want enough spacer in the front to complement the rear. Thanks for any help.... Joe

p.s. already searched...

Probably not quite what you're looking for, huh??

Those are good looking wheels and I searched high and low for 8 months until I found mine. Post pics of your ///M with SSR GT3s. Imagine, two vehicles with the best looking wheel on the planet mounted on them..... Heaven on Earth!!!

Nope, not even close... A friend of mine bought one of those when they came out. I think all he did was change the pulley and exhaust. I still remember the sick low end power that thing made! And how stiff the clutch was from the factory...

Yes, indeed. The clutch weighs a ton and this beast has the balls of the baddest bull on the block. It will definitely introduce you to the back of the seat.... I love it to death. I've done the pulley swap and a few other minor mods and put 460+ to the pavement!! Awesome machine. Over the summer I'm throwing on a ported blower.... Can't wait.

What size spacers are on the front of your car? Do you have a pic looking down the side of your car? Thanks...

I need pictures with the wheels pointed straight, I'm still at the shop playing with the front spacing (11pm here). I was hoping to get these ordered tomorrow so I could have them by the weekend. I have to at least use 5mm for the rear, looks like 17.5mm in the front looks good... What problems have you had spacing out these wheels? I don't want to space them at all but the brembos demand it...Thanks...

I'm not sure about 5mm+ spacers but i wouldn't go that far personally, it's pretty much @ the edge of rubbing fenders. I don't like the spacers cause they sometimes seize on me when i need to change brake rotor. Also if you want to use brembo... I recommend VMRs they clear out bbks very well.

17.5mm wheel spacers on the front still leave a tad more clearance at the fender than the 5mm wheel spacers on the rear... 285-30-19 tires rear, 245-35-19 tires front... It took me forever to get new SSR GT3s, so other wheels are not an option...

probably the closet pic i've atm. 5mm spacer, btw, these SSR DO NOT work well with spacers.

Edit: Note that the car is lowered by PSS9 coilovers
very true! The best ones I have found are Vorshlag their outer hub ring is right at 72.4 which is a lot better as I found the hard way a lot are at 72.18

I'm not sure how you are going to run spacers on the rear I have 275s and I need -1.8deg or better not to rub in the rear. I have 12mm in the front to clear my bbk. I have also had 15mm and I thought it was to much...

sly1types, stickboie,
Thanks for posting pics of your cars, Do either of you have spacers in the rear? If not I think my car will look similar to both of yours, just 5mm closer to the fenders...

your front 12mm my front 17.5mm
your rear 0mm my rear 5mm
front difference 12mm front difference 12.5mm

I just want similar wheel to fender clearance front and rear. take a look and tell me what you think... Thanks, Joe
