Ok, i am looking for a drop badly, i mean my car looks like a 4x4, my funds cant accept coilovers right now, so i will have to do with springs, i specifically want to see the drop that acs springs do, eibachi pro kit, and maybe h and r. i want a nice even drop to fill the gaps, i dont want to have gaps between my tires and fenders. i need help asap my car looks liek its on 18s! please post a picture of the drop, and the specs of the springs, thanks alot:thumbup:

edit: i forgot to add, what other componenets will i need so that i wont have to get an allignment once a month and no other problems? thanks

A nice mix would be to have UUC springs on the front and eibachs on the rear. The UUC's have .4 inches more of a drop for the front.

I would also suggest getting new struts so you don't have that floaty feeling. Not mandatory though

As for rubbing, my rims are 19x8.5 and I have no rubbing at all

i have nitto nt-555 265/30/19 in back. it was rubbing when i had more than one other person in the car so i had the fenders rolled by A1 autobody in huntington beach and now they don't rub at all :D

aren't ACS springs made by Eibach? :dunno: i would imagine it would be similar in that case. ACS probably charges a lot for them too.

you might not have to in that case. only one way to find out :D i thought i might be able to get away with not rolling so i didn't do it initially. the day after i had my springs thrown on i took three of my friend's to lunch and my roommate followed us in his tahoe with a couple other guys. they said it looked like a smoke screen from spy hunter when i accelerated  i had to kick two of the guys out at a stop light and make them get in the tahoe hehe

Pimpin04Coupe: These guys have pretty well done good job of displaying the height given from the Pro-Kit. I too have the eiback setup and am overall very happy with it. My car had 16k miles on it when I did the springs so I didn't opt for new shocks, I'm running the SP shocks for now and they're holding up fine. The ride is soft and mushy for me but there's a hint less body roll than there was stock and just a hint stiffer which is good because my girlfriend drives the car on an everyday basis. Unfortunatly I don't think that there's 1 spring comob out there that's perfect which is sad and a vote for going with coilovers...as in the coming year I'll probably go to UUC front or H&R Race front springs to bring the car right where I want it. The Pro-Kit is a very good all around spring package that can be done very cheaply and since you have an '04 you'll still likely get quite a few miles out of your stock shocks before having to replace them.

In an 02 coupe with the sport suspension and 18000 miles, would my shocks hold up with new springs?

Hi pimpn04coupe,

Here's some pics of my car. I'm on 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears dropped on KW springs. There is NO gap for the front, the tire is tucked slightly in the fender and the rear has only 1 finger width space! Rolled my rear fenders too.

Azrial: words cannot describe your car...that's exactl how I want mine to turn out...

bimmerguy2006. I was in the same perdicament when I put on the pro-kit, a few less miles than you but I'm at nearly 7K strong since the install and stock shocks are still holding up. I imagine that if I would have gone lower it might wear the stock units out a bit faster. I intend on upgrading to Bilsteins or Koni's next summer though.
