im running style 44s and want a little more width and and little less sidewall. I love stretched wheels but 225s are just too skinny to me.

im considering 235/40/17 but im afraid theyll look too small.

Here are pics from my iphone. They're only okay. Front tires are 225/45/17 Kuhmo MX and the rear are 245/40/17 Kuhmo MX. In my opinion, these tires have a taller sidewall and tread depth or more aggressive tread than most continentals, Michelins, bridestones, and Dunlops I have seen on e46s with the same measurements (wheel/tire). I thought the rears looked really sexy and kinda gave a tiny bit of a "de-raked" look to the car and some kinda stagger :dunno: good luck !

:edit: You do know you can run 245 like i did and you wont have a problem, OR just buy 235s. The difference is so little, IDK what your debating about. If anything the 235 will look better :read:

235/40/17 will look a little small and set my speedo wrong.
235/45/17 is too tall and thats worse

im just afraid they will look silly if they are too small or too big...

thats awesome no buldge perfectly flat.

wider tires react to less negative camber as well which is good since our cars require expensive parts to manage lots of negative camber.

notice a performance difference?

what tires are those?
