She's pretty mild. I think the balance of the exhaust is stock.

On the go. Lunch with my aunt and cousin's widow across town today.

Then on to my buddies place where it let me drive his e39 wagon. Very nice. He's added headers and a six speed. I do love the sound. And the extra gear was worth a few revs at cruise. Still loving my coupe though.

Not in a hurry to change wheels, but these do look nice. At +/- $1,200 they seem like a good deal. Thoughts?
He mentioned that the header install was a complete PITA.

He set me up with these "new in box" tire socks. Never tried these before. They sound like a nice alternative to chains. Especially on cars with minimal clearance.

High tech alternator duct is off.

Watched a few videos. The flap moves freely. If I rotate the flap against the spring, and plug the vacuum port on the underside, it snaps closed. Pulling vacuum on the port near the gate with my vacuum pump, then switching the key to “run” does not cause the gate to move. Bad DISA?

Planning to check out Cascade's HPDE program this summer. Pretty excited. Tires, helmet and a few random items to sort out before then.
