Hi fellow NYers,

My 2001 325cic has the DSC+Brake Lights lit up, most likely due to a faulty yaw rate sensor (Code 5E3C and 5E38 found by scanning via PASoft 1.4).

Unfortunately the car's NYS inspection is expiring shortly and I may not be able to get it fixed in time for the inspection. Does anyone know if I can pass inspection with these lights on? If I understand correctly this has nothing to do with the car's emissions systems, etc, and the Check Engine Light is not on.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys, it's a relief to hear that.

The culprit for the illuminated dash lights is actually the yaw rate sensor that's part of the DSC system (mounted under the driver's seat), the brake pads on the car were fine last I checked.
