Is there a difference between canadian and US part numbers ??
The reason I am asking is because i got the universal transmitter from my dealership and the parts number for it is
61 31 8 373 749
the one that i searched on this site says the part number is
82 11 1 470 125

Also the manual says for all E36 models

Did i get the wrong part ???
I can't test it out till next month when my new car arrives

I think part numbers are the same.

What manual says for all E36 models? I'm guessing the 61 31 8 373 749 is for all E36 models, & the other one is E46 but I'm not sure.

Don't they know? Hurry cause there's only a 30 day exchange/refund policy.

post a picture and we can tell you if it's the right one! also, BMW may have upgraded the tranmitter and given it a new part number!
