Have a 2001 325xi that I did this upgrade--the paddles are tremendous--but my airbag light is on and the buttons on the wheel dont light up when the lights are on--Hmmm--gonna pop the airbag off to make sure all the connections are good and tight--also on the 2001 the 2 center wires in the step clip are green and black --not blue and purple--just a note-- the paddles shift with the shortest movement i've tried -- going off a Lexus and a GM car---the paddle shifter upgrade is FUN FUN FUN.

Any help on the airbag/light prob would be appreciated if all the connections are tight.

Airbag connections are tight--gonna have to delve deeper--also now somethings rattling under the dash--its always something

just a little thought here amigo... if u ever have an airbag code in the cluster, simplyfixing the problem wont do the trick.. u have to reset codes for the light to go out

thx-- got all the other issues sorted out -- thought thats what needed to be done with the airbag light --had the steering wheel rewrapped and they forgot to reconnect a group of wires--once I found and corrected that, all was good
