oh it’s been so long thought the seal came with the pump.
get it from the dealer. when in a bind which is thee correct when there are two choices and it’s critical I just buy both. that way when committed to the job I can finish it. then take back the unused one later.

So, I’ve changed the fuel pump. This indeed was the correct part number for the gasket: 16111184084

Just one weird thing, and I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the new fuel pump. When I throttle the car a little it hangs around 1000rpm before returning to 700rpm. I’ve noticed while driving that when I go off the throttle the rpm’s dip below 700rpm and then come back up (when the engine isn’t warm yet). Haven’t driven the car yet, so not sure if that still persists.

Any idea what the hanging around 1000rpm can be? Can it have something to do with the new fuel pump? Maybe it did it already and I’m noticing now for the first time. I’ve made a video:

btw have you ever changed the fuel filter?
