Local Bmw guy just reported seized Post cat 02 sensor nothing he can do . He said replace the cats . What are my options here ? The car needs to pass emissions to register it .
Retap a new hole ?
Delete it somehow?
Cut out the section weld a new section of pipe in ?
sell the car ?
Drive it off a cliff ?
Any ideas thanks in advance

Yes, an exhaust shop with an oxyacetylene torch. Otherwise, put a long breaker bar on the O2 sensor socket and brute force it ... though there may be some collateral damage to the threads or even the exhaust tube itself.

Bear in mind, that there's a possibility of all that heat and wrenching, could hurt the threads. You're not out of the woods yet.
If you look up the torque spec for the O2 sensor, adhere to it.

99% of O2 sensors are way overtight.

The ONE postcat sensor I've had fail (open heater)
was also the ONE sensor I've had stick. Badly.

So: very long wrench, cut the connector off.
Apply foot while holding onto undercariage.
Add stainless/aluminum cutting oil, and work back and forth.
Get it maybe 3 flats loose, retighten, 5 flats loose, retighten.
Repeat. Eventually, it came out.

Retap threads with 'oxygen sensor rethreading tap' from K-D tools.

It better not fail again, because I'm pretty sure it'll never come out now.

I’m bringing it to my old pro mechanic this week . We’re gonna get that puppy out come hell or high water. I’m sure this guy has a few tricks up his sleeve.
but great advice thank you guys . I’d like to keep the car on the road a while longer if possible. It’s driving great since new struts and a fuel pump .
