it is absolutely unequivocally your valve cover or gasket. The covers have been known to morph (despite being plastic) / crack and leak downward that way. Theres nothing else that would cause this without being evident elsewhere
I Think So. he should double check this, as far as i know there are 3 main reasons,
1. The gasket is aging (broken/poor quality)
2. The screw is not tightened properly
3. the lid is oval (no flat surface, often encountered if the car was be keep drive for a long time)
Since OP said he already replaced the VCG, but he didn’t say that he cleaned everything once he was done. Could be residual left after the VCG replacement.
The valve cover, the only place that can replicate a leak like that short of a rod going to the moon, even then it's a stretch it would get over and up on the heat shield.
Were you needing suggestions on breaking free the seized, oil covered O2?
Is this a blog entry or a solicitation for help? - I'm asking because you're giving people flack for answering your original question
Thanks.
Oil on O2 sensor
That's the title, Oil on the o2 sensors? Ok so what?

After two short drives (up to op temp) I think it’s doing better. After the first drive I think it was still burning off residual oil. First pic shows it a little wet.
But by the second pic it seems dry.
I’ll keep an eye on it. But I won’t get too excited until I can get a longer drive on it.
