Hi all,

I have a 2004 E46 convertible with the GM transmission. We have been tracking down a tranny fluid leak and it appears to be coming from the connection between the tranny Oil Cooler and the hose that goes to the Transmission.

There are O-Rings in there that are likely the source of the leak, but looking at the parts diagrams, those O-rings are not called out specifically, and instead it looks like the only OEM option is to purchase the cooler line (17227577623) directly for almost $200USD

Has anyone else dealt with this issue and found an O-ring that fits correctly? The ones being sold on sites like RockAuto are likely for the other end of the hose as they are not the right size for this. We want to see if the community has any direct leads on this before we start ordering from other sites and trying to find a better fit.

To be clear, this is in the connection between the oil cooler and the cooler line that runs to the transmission, on the cooler side, not the side that attaches to the transmission itself

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
