Ok ok I know BMW suggests changing the oil ever 15K miles....however, I've been told that this stretch is just too long, even for synethic. I assume most of you do your own oil changes, so after how many miles do you typically do the deed? I was thinking change it myself after 7500 or so, then bring it in at 15K and they wont know since the service light hasnt been reset.
