Hey all,

I was thinking of trying to use the OEM mic with Pioneer's bluetooth unit. Would it be possible to adapt the connector to be 2.5mm to fit in Pioneer's bluetooth module ?

I doubt it, the pioneer has 2 pin the OEM BMW 3 pin, also the mic is tuned to the system that's going to use it.

Why not just get the OEM cover and mount the pioneer mic into it, that way it looks OEM.

You may need to modify either the mic or the cover and use a glue gun to get it all fixed.

Black OEM cover = BMW p/n 51-44-8 250-108 $5.38.
