Hey everyone!

I just did the OEM Alarm Retrofit on my 03 325xi and everything went swell.

But while I had my car connected, I figured I'd pull up the Car/Key Memory Settings and I'm confused about a couple settings;

Anti-Theft System (bold = current setting)

• Activation/Deactivation

• Arming, visual

  • not active
• Activation, visual (hatches closed)

  • not active
• Arming, acoustic
  • active
  • not active
• Arming, acoustic (hatches closed)
  • active
  • not active
• Disarming, acoustic
  • active
  • not active

My question is about the "hatches closed" options. The factory default for "Arming, acoustic (hatches closed)" is active, but I disabled it based on the description;

"Activation is confirmed by a brief warning signal from the siren once all the doors and hatches are closed"

If this was enabled, does that mean every time all my doors/trunk/hood were closed the siren would beep? or hazards flash (with the visual hatches closed setting)?
