I bought the OEM alarm kit online and installed it myself. Now I need to have it activated. Does anyone have an OBD II device which can activate an e46 alarm? I've called around to some shops and quoted $100-$200 for the activation.

I've found posts from people complaining about paying even $50 and many saying it can be done for free. Any idea where I can find a good deal?

Call another dealer and tell them your alarm stopped working
