My "friends" odometer is acting wierd.. A few months back after a sterio install we reconnected the battery and after driving the car my friend noticed the mileage seemed to be lower than it was before but he wasn't sure.. Well, last week he and I watched the car turn 60000 on the odometer and today the odometer reads 1000 less than it did one week ago. Anyone ever hear or experience this?

If it works out where that TAMPER light doesn't come on, I would like a DIY for the odometer please

you probably should check that out for the dealer though..because changing your mileage is a fraud
