I've had this sound for a week. didn't exist before that. The sound comes when the engine is warm. It disappears after 2 rpm. My friend said it was an lifter tick and had the same issue on his 328, put mobil1 10w40 oil and the sound was gone. 2,000 km to oil change. what do you think i should do? Is there any harm in using the car like this?

loose spark plug doesn't always do? It only makes noise when it warms up.

Not a loose plug noise.
It's Lifter tick.

Three possible solutions:
A different brand of oil often solves (different additive package) the issue.

Liqui Moly Hydraulic lifter additive.

Replace the lifters.

Can this one b shorter than the last...

Which oil should I use? What should the thickness be?

For oil, it must be fully synthetic 0w40 with the BMW LL01 on the label.

However if you use the search function at the top, there are 24+ pages of this very same question.
Try an oil change of brand. Take the car out for a spirited drive and see if that solves your issue.

I recommend Mobil One 10w-40. Do not settle for a 10W-30.

I will try thick oil. because it comes after it warms up.

Once the oil warms up and becomes thinner the sound goes away. And you want to put thicker oil in it.... 🤔

Maybe you should try one of those 0-40 if that's not what is in it. 👀

I'm the opposite. It makes a sound when it's hot. I think the oil is thin.
