Hey guys I just got a 2004 BMW m3 and it has 42,000 miles. When I turn the at on it says 11,994 miles to oil service. My question is what is the normal temp for the oil and coolant? Tonight in 58 F tem I was having so fun and my oil temp was abit before 210. Is that normal? And the coolant sometimes goes past the middle. Also after I accelerate hard and come to a stop and go again normally it shakes a little. Are these normal?

Ok, the oil is perfectly normal. The coolant should be in the middle. IF you car is SMG the shake is kind of normal after hard driving. Try an SMG reset. If you don't know what that is then search SMG reset. Your perfectly ok bro. Don't worry. Enjoy your car.

MPG for normal driving is about 21.5mpg with a mix of city, highway, and traffic at least that is for me.

had the ride dyno last week i had to get on the car awhile to make it run smooth on the dyno.. on my car now its 12.7mpg if it goies up to 15 mpg i will be very happy... to note i do almost no highway driving at all.....

when you take the oil temp past 210, you should be having a smile on your face, but yes your car is perfectly fine from the looks of it, S6....beast
