I know it's out there !

I've seen a post (and have searched like mad) for converting a stock non-mf steering wheel (MY 2000 323 without cruise control) to a mf 3 spoke version, but I can't seem to find it..

I know it involved building a couple of sets of wires to control the radio..

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Thanks

It is a bit more complicated than that. I think the kits for your car are 65 71 0 021 159 or ... 026 223 depending on the steering wheel. To get an idea of the project, click here for the instructions. If you have the sport wheel (round airbag) already, the kit is pretty inexpensive. If you have the triangular or trapezoidal airbag, I think it is about the same price to buy a used sport wheel (from someone who upgraded to the M wheel) and a new round airbag as it is to get the 026 223 kit which includes the airbag. But if an airbag swap is needed, we should confirm part numbers and compatibility first,
