I recently picked up a 325ci e46. The deal was simply too good to pass up. I have never owned a BMW before.

How difficult would strapping the rocketbunny kit to it be?

The kit in question:

Strapping it on is not the problem.

The problem is walking after getting an atomic wedgie.

Look, seriously... You bought a 325ci. You want to spend nearly 3 grand for an ugly body kit. Add the cost of paint, wheels and tires to make the kit not look totally stupid, coilovers to make the kit not look totally stupid, and at the end of the day you could have bought an M3, a car that would have much better performance and infinitely greater resale value.

LMFAO@Atomic Wedgie... COMPLETELY caught off guard by that.

It's the style these days, sure. Why, I'm not sure, but if it suits your fancy go for it.

Just know that modifications like this are permanent, no matter what anyone tells you. You're looking at multi-piece wheels and those can get to be just about as much as you bought the car for (I know i've spent more on wheels than I paid for either of my BMWs)

Taking the kit off reveals just how much damage (cutting for wider wheels and tires to fit) was done, so the kit has to stay with the car. Would bewise to keep the wheels with the car too, unless you re-rebarrel them, LOL!

Another option is "Industry Garage"

If you have another 12k to spend on the car, burn, flush down the toilet, go for it.
When it comes time to sell, don't be surprised when no one wants to pay even 1/2 stock value for the car though.

Only 0.1% of buyers would want a car that was cut up to fit a body kit.

BTW OP, not to scare you off to this community....

Look, lots of good advice here.

If you want to make meaningful improvements to your 325ci and keep it maintained, we can be your best buds.

Gotta say, I agree with getting a M3 or at least a 330 zhp ci. Both are conv's. The former gives you a really nice engine, the later gives you a very decent engine.

Second, if you're gonna do body work like that... Talk to a body shop. If you really *need* to ask how hard it is to do, you probably shouldn't go near body work.
