i've got the nittos, so i'm trying to decide whether to stay with nitto, or try the new es100 or mx... i don't have the budget or the desire to get s03's or t1s', so i'm looking at these

btw, these will be 235/40/18

nittos are a pretty good tire. good handling, smooth ride, and excellent wear... i did get a nail in my rear, and had it patched, and it seems to give a little more noise now, so i'm wondering if the wheel is out of balance.

I have the same dilemna for my next pair of tires.. I was thinking between Kumho and Nitto too, most likely Nittos


I heard Hankuk tires were ok for their cheap price as well...

Damn, this is a tough one. I don't know about the Nitto but both the Yoko and Kumho are great tires and great values too.

I would recommend the MX for ultimate grip and the ES100 if you care about tread life.

The Kuhmo MX is the best tire you mentioned, as far as dry traction is concerned. In the wet, they are not that great, but I have yet to run into any problems with them
