Hey y’all!
Greetings from South Carolina.
I have owned a few BMW’s in the past and grew up working up on tuners.

Recently bought a 2005 325CI from the auction that was a flood, yikes!

Already been quite an experience! It was delivered via a mini van!

I have already stripped the interior to the frame and dried it out. Currently battling an alternator problem but will search to see if I can find the info I need.
My plans are to turn this into a daily driver/toy.

look forward to reading up and learning about the cars!

Wow, you are brave my friend. Flood cars are a nightmare.
Welcome to the forum!
Thanks Bali. So far the electronics and wiring have been decent.
Did run into some home made fixes. One being the wiring to the alternator.

scratching my head on how to fix this one.
It only had one wire coming out of the loom to the plug, and then a poorly attached wire running to the back of the alternator

Welcome! That looks really clean for a flood! It looks to me like you got a good deal. I think you know what you got yourself into with a flood car, enjoy! I'm curious to see all the crazy problems you run into when you get it up and running lol
