:censor: :censor: :censor: I am so pissed right now. My car was involved in a hit and run a while back in september and I got it "fixed" at autorecon located in irvine. They are horrible, the first time they painted it, it was so shitty that i would not accept it and the painter was like there is nothing wrong with it and wouldn't you know after a couple of people looking at it they new something was wrong that guy is a little b1tch. So then end up finding the problem was the primer so they paint it again I come back looks ok then up close there are some bubbles I was pissed. And they took of the chrome trim on the door and managed to scratch the door molding. So i told them then this so I have to bring the car back AGAIN. So i did my patenice was wayning at this time. And i come back the bubbles are gone ok that is good but i look at the new door molding and now they have scratched both of them the new and old one!!! They painter tries to polish them out but nothing they are too deep!!:banghead: So i show them, and I was like I don't have time for this I have to come back another time to fix it. I get in my car and the moonroof shade is broken WTF!!!!! I show them this too they said they would fix it also. Now three weeks later after I told them to order the parts, and come to show them how much it will cost to fix the shade on the moonroof they deny everything they fired everybody that was actually helpfull with fixing my car and the skinny painter denies everything says there where never scratches on the door panels so of course I am pissed the :censor: off. And he threatens to call the cops I can't believe this guy or this company.

It is not the chrome trim it is the molding next to the window that is painted that matte black color. I didn't think I would need to take pictures because I had 5 people come look at it and they said if i was unhappy they would replace it. I even showed the Vice President of the company he also agreed with me and told them to order the parts, and he was fired too:yikes: . I can't believe they scratched it twice if they had done it right the first time I would have been happy but now they refuse to change it and pay for the moonroof shade they broke. I also had my car detailed over there a year ago and that is what they are supposed to specialize in but the first time I got my car it had some cat scratches because of a dirty towel it looked like. Took them 3 times to get it right. Gave them one more chance because my now previous mechanic recommended them, now I am only going to go to BMW certified centers A1 autobody, and for a mechanic I think I am going to check out DAI motorsports I hear they go great work.

no problems what so ever...other than it took 1 week longer than was told...but was notified immediately...so no problems there...

Thanks for the input I have another hit and run I need to file there. I originally wanted to go to them for my repairs but my insurance company originally got a quote from autorecon, and then didn't want to fork up the extra cash for Spectrum collison to do it. So I think that I am going to go there in like a month or so when I have time. They even let me substitute installing an m-tech 2 rear for a replacement instead of the m-aero.

And about the painter, I really want to do something but I am pretty sure they have my address in there records think it would still be a good idea? Because a bird told me the other day to follow him home break his windows slash his tires and pour oil in the interior but that bird was crazy haha. It is just not worth it I am going to be the bigger man(which is funny I just turned 18). I might protest there shop this weekend sitting just outside of their shop on the street with posterboards and showing people there "quality" work.

And thanks you guys for all your input, I might have done something crazy if i didn't get to let off some steam on this forum
