i am having issues wit my 01 m3..... when it idles it randomly drops rpms and jumps back up... kinda like its about to bug out... does anyone have any pointers on where i should start lookin to fix this issue

Do you have an aftermarket intake/filter? Could possibly be your MAF/IAC needs a cleaning too. I had this problem and I just cleaned out the IAC/MAF and it went back to normal.

It is a design to auto rev until the engine is warm. Both of my BMW's do it and it should stop right when your temp gauge hits the middle.

its doesnt auto rev it drops rpms and it does it when engine at normal operating temperature
