Guys,

I did something stupid. :banghead: I was intsalling the OEM and I placed the 30 torx screw on top of the engine bay. I must have shooked the car hard enough while trying to remove the air filter holder where the screw fell in the hole (see red circle). I rolled down and ended up somewhere. I've looked all over for it and hope that it would fall to the bottom. But it didn't. Should I be worry that it might get caught up somewhere. Should I bring it to the shop and have it raised so that I can see if I can find the screw. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks in advance and the alarm install went smoothly except for this incident.

isnt that just the intake manifold cover? im sure you can take that off somehow.... i dropped a socket wrench rear the engine a few nights ago... i had to take my new bumper off(i had just finished installing it) to get to the bottom engine cover.

bender...i found the screw and it's on the bottom..i can hear it as i hit the bottom. So are you saying that i have to take to bumper off to get to the bottom of it. There is no other way????

If I jack up the car, do you think I can get it out without removing the bumper?

Thanks again for your help.

yuo might be able to take it off be removing the bottom cover. its easy. there are torx screws aroudn teh bottom cover, after thats loose, the bottom cover just slides off. Im sure u;ll find many more interesting things thre other than ur screw..

lilherc79...thanks..i will try that. Since my sways are coming, I'll just wait then to get the screw. I was afraid first that it was stuck somewhere. Now I know for sure it's on the bottom, I just wait.

Thanks again guys.
