If MS43 works in INPA, that is what you have.
WinKFP won’t let you flash the wrong ECU files. It fails if you select an incorrect ECU.
What is the production date?

Hey. The vin is wbabn53443ph03411. I also figured out setting the mirror light.
Thanxs for your help and everyone elses.

Should I put a charger on batt when I flash?

Many don't.
In all of my years of technical training (BMW, Bosch, BIMRS) hooking up power supply to a FULLY charged battery is the FIRST step in flashing/coding/configuring.

Ok, realoem.com shows 11/2002 production date. So yeah, it is MS43.

If the battery is fine no charger is needed. MS43 DME update takes 15 minutes and only draws around 1A.
Feel free to attach a charger if you like.

What would the transmission module be?
An 11/2002 330Ci should have the ZF auto trans, which uses the GS8.60.4 EGS module.
You can easily verify using INPA by looking at the Transmission‘s Info page.

Hi,

Just as an update guys. I flashed my MS43 and GS8.60.4 module today and I wanted to add a few notes for anyone who may wish to do the same. I followed the guide and a problem arose. The engine started fine but I got a '!' in a circled gear in the instrument cluster. I look at errors in INPA and it was showing Nack. I assume that means NOT acknowledged.
So the ECU was not talked to anyone else. I tried turning off the car 'with key' and nothing. So I decided to disconnect the battery and do a hard reset. That worked! All the ecu's came up. I thought thought I'd relate this in case this happens to anyone else.

Cheers.

One important step that usually avoids this is to turn the ignition key off for like 5 seconds after completing flashing with WinKFP. The other CAN bus modules freak out when the module being flashed doesn’t respond. After all the key is on during flashing. Cycling the key resets their power. Also, you must clear trouble codes in each of the CAN bus modules. In your case the EGS tripped an error that needed to be cleared.

I did not completely remove the key, but I did turn the car off, no luck!
I was starting to get a little concerned before I did a hard reset.

I edited my post to say turn the key off, but I usually just remove it.
Did you clear all errors in CAN bus modules? That would be cluster, DSC, EGS.
