hey guys i was wondering if ne1 knos what color in kelvins is the xenon headlights when it is first turned on.. it kinda has a bluish tint to it.. i love that color.. if only they stayed that color throughout.. but it turns WHITE =(.. is it higher temp than 4300K or lower than 4300K? thankx guys

///M3Matt, thats a really high color temp. It looks higher than 6000K to me. 8000K bulbs would do the trick. Keep in mind that the higher the color temp, the less light output. You'd sacrifice visibilty for color. 6000K is the best of both worlds. I plan on upgrading to 6000K soon.

does ne1 have a pic of what 6000K looks like?
i asked this question b/c i would think the temp right when u turn ur xenons is lower than 4100K, so then, does ur xenon's jump up to warmer than 4100K at start, then go back to normal temp? thankx guys

Other way around -- starting temp is... 5800K? Damn, I forget... and then as the Xenon gas excites, it changes down towards 4100-4200K -- roughly the Sun's color temp.
