Navigation screen removal to install Aux-In

I am having a bit of difficulty removing the Nav screen in order to get to the required cabling to install the BMW Aux-In connector.

I have already removed the center console and all of the dash trim. I am having a problem removing the center dash vents and the climate control display/button unit.

It seems that there are a few screws behind the climate control display/button unit that need to be removed to be able to take out the nav screen.

Anyone have a DIY for removing the climate control box and center vents? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
-Scott

Scott,

Just do a search, recently I have posted a bunch of stuff on "navigation remova, auxiliary installation", just do a quick forum search and you'll notice that the nav removal is a cake walk because all you have to do is pull the entire navigation/radio console out after unscrewing the two screws that hold the vent/nav unit in place. You must be making this harder than it has to be.
