Exhaust sounds deeper. I didn't want it to sound too much louder. I had the option of having the bodyshop install an extra pipe that came with the exhaust (NOT A SOUNDPIPE) that bypasses the catalytic converter. It would have made the exhaust sound even louder but I was told that I might have had problems passing the Emissions testing, so I didn't have them put that pipe on. Still it sounds great to me. Don't have pics from underneath but I'll definitely take some and post later.truwon said:hows the exhaust sound?

Can you see the muffler can hanging below the tips past the bottom of the bumper?
Thanks bro.///M3Matt said:Looks great!!!!!!!!!!!
Clem, I think I know why you asked me about the muffler can. After looking at the closeup picture of my quad exhaust, from that angle you see something next to the left side exhaust tips that looks like part of the muffler can. It's actually not the muffler. That's where the pipes begin that circle around the rear tire well and end up on the right side exhaust tips. Personally if I designed the exhaust I would not have had the pipes branch out at that spot where it's highly visible. I would have had the pipes branch out further back where it would have been less noticeable. Nonetheless I love the exhaust, both how it sounds and especially the looks.Clem said:SWEET.

I would think that it is since the right side is just tips with no can. Therefore it's more difficult to tell (unless you look underneath) that it's not really a dual exhaust.Navin323i said:Is it good that the muffler can not be seen?
Dude, you're the FIRST person who has ever told me that. Thank you. They are OEM Style 18 wheels in chrome (actually in the BMW Wheels book the chrome is only available for E36 models, however they definitely fit E46 models as well). I think I'm the only guy on this forum having 16" tires and wheels year round. When it comes time to upgrade the wheels I may go with 18" Lowenhart BR5 wheels. :thumbup:hamann 330Ci said:nice wheels........
Sorry for the picture quality. Actually I had a colleague of mine at work use his handheld PDA (Sony Clie) which also has the capability of taking digital pics. This was necessary because I don't have a digital camera yet, plus so many people on this board wanted to see pics ASAP (one guy even cussed me out since I didn't have pics posted). I'll do my best to get some better pics. I took some with my Canon Elph (non digital) and once the pictures are developed I'll scan and post. Hopefully it will be better quality pics.e46boy said:hey man.. DO post more pics... but use a better camera.. thx :eeps: :eeps:
