I got my 325ci in exchange for my Volvo V70.

After I tuned my friends Nissan 200 with M50 I decided that it would be a bit more power in my car.

Bought a m54b30 engine along with a 5 speed zf box. A cast manifold with T3 flange, two gst 450 fuel pumps, forged rods, dp pistons, flywheels, gaskets and some other small parts.

Then it was time to dismantle the engine, because the block would be drilled to 84.5mm.

Friend with the Nissan 200 helped me weld a oil return in the chest cover and a baffle plate in the oil pan.

He also had a m50 intake that I got from him.

Got an adapter for the m54b30 throttle.

Nuke Fuelrail for M50 intake and adapter to be able to get oil to turbo and connect pressure/temp sensor in S50 oil filter housing.

Intake redy with SMP 1680cc injectors.

The engine is getting more and more ready, new tensioner, new belt, new generator, new and upgraded oil pump, S50 filter house, etc.

Prepared for mac valve, ethanol sensor and fuel pressure sensor.

Hose and coupling that I should thread into the valve cover. 5/8 thread and an10 hose. This will go to a tank that I put next to the new washer fluid container. The second connection on the tank will be led to a t-pipe before the pump to evacuate the oil from the turbo.

There will be a gst 450 in the original tank that will fill a tank where there are two gst 450 pumps that will feed the fuel rail.
has not yet pressure tested the tank, but will do this before it is mounted. If it does not keep tight, I buy a Nuke tank.

Adapter and bearings mounted in the crank so that the box's axis is sufficient. 765 plates and zinter are also mounted.

Sorry for late reply, been super busy.

I didi pass the MOT with no fault at all, even that it was running MaxxEcu

Started to lift out the m54b25 to let the new m54b30 take it´s place.

Now the newly built engine is in place.

The fuel system is almost complete, lacks some connections. But it will be when I mount the m3 rear end.

I welded a flange directly into the exhaust house on the turbo for the wastegate, and mounted an oil tank for the oil drain.
I will connect my new tilton oil pump to the tank which will then pump oil to the connection which is welded to the front of the engine

Have also bought me a 645ci that works as a nice summer car

Now I'm waiting for a new radiator, I've already got new hoses and a new expansion tank

Can confirm that m54b30 + Gs6-37dz + M3 shaft + M3 subframe. Works!

The motivation is a little higher right now, because I have bought a single roll dynamo. Should get it in a couple of weeks, he had a couple of runs left on it.

My friend just finished his Audi 80 quattro, fully approved for street use. We will install a system in it, nira or maxxecu. Then I´ll tune it in my dynamo.

Thanks, always fun to be appreciated!

Have another small side project, I will install a MaxxECU in a friend Mitshubishi Evo 8 mr

He had bought a MaxxEcu pnp for Evo 8, but since he has an Evo 8 mr, the connector does not match. I will solder the cables from MaxxEcu pnp to another connector that fits the car

Got a little more done this weekend.
Started by changing the thermostat on the 645 and some lamps.

Then on to the real project
Painted and mounted pressure pipe from the intercooler, then I covered it.

Mounted pwm control from maxxtuning for my two pumps in the catch tank.

Late yesterday 25/8 I started the newly built engine for the first time, unfortunately it sounds like a tractor. There is only a short 90 degree bend as the exhaust system. Everything was fine and the fuel and oil systems worked without problems.

Got a little done on the e46an, downpipe and the beginning of the exhaust system. Got some more tubes so will be building further later in the week.

Picked up the dyno and mounted a tent/garage over it.

The first car I on the dyno was my friend's nissan 200 with m50 (which has gone 32k km)

Three different stage 1.4. 1.6 and 1.8 bar, the effect was 528, 582, 614 whp

Finally my new turbo has arrived, it is a CT4X 3BB Billet 6767 T4

It is air cooled so no water or oil pipes are needed.
Will be exciting to see how much air it delivers in the dyno.

Have also decided that it will be dct gearbox. So this weekend I will get a flywheel from DKGECU and a gearbox from an m4 2018 that has only done 20000km.

Hopefully I'll be done with the gearbox modifications (welding and soldering) this weekend. :craig:
