Mtech II Brackets/Air Ducts on Facelift ...Which Brackets?Vendor?

Ok so I need to buy the Mtech II front and rear bumpers, My car is in the shop waiting. Ive been searching the forum all over for this info and found some but i just want to clarify it .... If I buy the Mtech II kit for my facelifted sedan (2002) Im going to have to buy new brake ducts and brackets (left, center, and right) as well as new bumper brackets (prefacelift) to make the Mtech II fit on my 02 sedan. correct? i believe so.

Here is where i am confused ... i have called around to some of the vendors DDM,Eurodyne .. and they have confirmed if I buy their bumpers i will need to do that. However someone told me if I buy from Euro-spec/ DTM-Spec I wont need to buy the prefacelift brackets for their MtechII bumper, and that it will bolt right up is this true?

Edit/Update

Thanks for helping me out fellas :thanks: I put it all together for those who need it in the future. Its all here facelifted sedan with mtech II kit front and rear (bought from Jo @ euro-dyne)

You will need new brackets, unless you have an Mtech I front bumper on your car., also will need brake air ducts.

Is this true even if i buy from Euro-spec? I would ask them but their overseas and its hard to get a hold of them this week. Considering im kind of in a hurry i cant really wait until next week just to ask them the Q

you will need brackets no matter where you get your Mtech II or M3 bumper from .
I actually had an M3 rep bumper on before ... does that mean i can just use those brackets for the Mtech II? The only thing i never did when I got the M3 Bumper was change the air ducts...

you should be just fine with those brackets. Those are the exact same brackets. All you will need is the ducts if you want them. I got my Mtech Installed recently and I didnt get the ducts for it. I will get them down the road, but no big deal at the time.

You don't really need the air ducts if you don't have the cash. I had part of one fall out and if I recall correctly, they're kind of expensive. 2 parts to each side x 2 sides = $150 or so.

NO all air ducts are preference. The only drawback may be when youre truly pushin your car hard and can use that extra bit of airflow or if someone is up close to your ride and can see how the ducts may be uneven (if you dont switch them out). Some people choose not to spend the extra 150 bucks or so. I on the other hand did it the first time around.

Are these pre-facelift Part #'s the same for a COUPE?

I have a facelift Coupe and I'd like to install the MtechII front bumper on. Do I need any other mounting small parts (bumper guides, expanding rivets, etc?)

What about the Altenator duct? For a complete install wont you need that as well? Or does the original one work?

Also from the little research I have completed thus far all those with XIs will have to get a different part number for some of the ducting. Brake Ducts for sure. Not sure about the other ducting at this point.
