E46 330 turbo build newbie

Hi all,im building a 330ci turbo e46 at the moment and was going to go standalone ecu but after reading the posts here im going to stay ms43, i have flashed the ews delete .bin etc and was wondering if there are turbo base maps available? or any pointers in creating one. :eeps: ive read the wiki but not too sure how to apply this (but will be studying hard to learn lol) for my (to be) boosted E46 :facepalm:

Turbo acts like a muffler , i have a straight pipe with a turbo and it literary sounds like stock exhaust. If you want exhaust pops , i suggest you figuring out 2 step / launch control cut ignition and add fuel and there is a 2 step for ya.

look up N55 exhaust pop with MHD tune. Obv it can be done without 2step
 
hello guys, I need a little help with something, im tuning my 330 turbo and everything is going fine except im coming on boost and the ecu is still in close loop, making my afr's 14's while on boost. Now on the logger i can see that as soon as I get to 80% throttle position, close loop stops and as I back off to 79 it comes back on.
Now this might not be necessarily related to throttle position, it could also be load related. I've searched high and low and cannot find the map to change the switching point for close loop. Now I don't want to get rid of close loop I just want it to turn off earlier.
any idea guy? I appreciate your help.

Anybody know what tables to mess with the fan speed? I am running a spal fan and getting hot in traffic, Id like to have the PWM go up faster, so the car doesn't get hot and then, after the fact, turn up the fan. I target 80C on my turbo 330, but my fan pwm at that point is under 30C. Id like the fan to act more aggressively.

moreover if someone wants to adjust fuel consumption with bigger injectors and the adjustment range in the instument cluster is not enough, he can try correcting the map below. it also worked for me.

I'm looking at a similar issue and wanted to know if this solves it
haven't had a chance to put it on the dyno with the logger but just looking at the wideband gauge I can see that it has improved but there's still some other maps involved as there's more delay to open loop when engine is cold and the throttle angle percentage that's in the table doesn't reflect the pedal feel.

My E39 in all its glory, with its only key broken still does not start. I can get it to turn over by splicing 2 big wires to ews 3 unit. still no power to fuel or coils. have tried everything in my knowledge storage bank as wellas many others. I have used the 64kb files with galletto that have claimed EWS delete and also 512kb files with JMGflasher that claim the same. what am I doing wrong? I started this project because 1. I cant stand chip keys. (has anyone ever heard of car jacking) 2. I am not paying lock smith or BMW some crazy ass price for a key that goes to a 14 year old car.
