Hi everyone. Could someone tell me I'd this is a coincidence or not. I have just had new tyres fitted and the tracking done and I've just noticed my mpg reading is stuck on zero. Please advise. Thanks. Simon

Is the bc button the one on the end of the indicator arm?. I'll give it a try. It just seems odd how it has happened afer having rear new tyres. could they have damaged the mpg sensor?

MPG Sensor? There's no such thing.

The car knows how fast it is going, and how hard you are smashing the gas pedal -- which means it knows how much fuel is in demand. It calculates the current speed and fuel demand in the computer and displays the result on the needle that you say points to zero. If the car displays the speed, then the needle is broken somewhere. The needle is the result of calculations of other known quantities.
