Heres the deal,

I have a 2000 323i and would like to listen MP3 files in my ride what are my options. I have the OEM NAV system up from and OEM CD changer in the trunk? Help!! :dunno: What are my options?

1. Burn the mp3s on a CD.
2. Replace the OEM changer with an aftermarket unit + adaptor (need to check to make sure there is an adaptor that will work with your particular model w/navi.
3. Replace the head unit (which could involve replacing the whole system if you want to do it right). Probably not the most practical option.

I realize that, I was just trying to sarcastically say that the stock system can not handle mp3 CDs directly.

Also, another option would be an mp3 player connected through an aux adaptor. I am not sure if there is one available for your particular car with navi. If there is one, depending on the brand, you might have to do away with the stock changer in order to make it work.
