I removed the factory plastic hose across the top of the manifold for vacuum distribution. The F connector goes into one end that hose was on, as seen behind the strut brace

So my smoking on cold start is getting worse. Big plumes at idle. Blue. And after a few minutes of driving it's gone. Where should I look?

Oil piston rings ,or oil drain for turbo isnt straight enough , Untill I drille a hole in the block I kept getting oil going past seal on a turbo , now its good ,because at the oil pan or timing cover there was too many bends . But could be oil rings if u never did them .

Do you think trying a heavier oil could help the cold start issues? I understand it's not really a solution, but 10w40 or something could help

Actually heavy oil might make it worse , my friends car did the same thing, we tried to clean it with seafoam thinking maybe too much carbon buildup in between rings or something , once we did that it started smoking oil so much worse and it was burning it quite a lot , untill he drove it for a while and it stopped.

Good stuff man, is your catch can full??
When under boost and with the ccv valve in place you have to think about where the 'pressure' inside the valve cover goes.
And when you go from boost to vacuum it may just be sucking in all that blowby stuff??
What type of smoke did you see on dyno? oil smoke or maybe just rich fuel smoke??
Oil feed to turbo can cause smoke too, do you have a restrictor in the feed line? 1-1.5mm? And turbo drain too but NO restrictions. I had a RB30det where the oil actually sloshed up the drain which blocked the draining oil from turbo and smoked terribly from the exhaust.

just some thoughts...

I did gap the plugs to 26. I can update tonight with some links, it just gets messy with all the small parts

I didn't have much to go on. I found a few people using something like that supercharged at similar boost level

It's creeping but I'm not sure if it's a controller issue. I'm going to move the controller feed from the manifold direct to turbo outlet. Hits 7 quick but only gets to 10 at redline. 12% duty cycle. AEM truboost

Yeah thats how I have my boost controller set up from manifold. I have SCG 1 innvovate. I even put a bigger waste gate , that never used to happen to me before. always at 10 psi.

It's not over boost, it just isn't linear boost. The wastegate still cracks at 7psi which is about 5 at the manifold, and then it rises to 10 at redline. With boost controller off it doesn't rise

Boost irregularities were fixed by moving the vacuum lines for the wastegate to come directly from the turbo. Pressure drop across the intercooler was doing weird things. AN oil drain and M56 cover going on soon
