From cx racing I suggest just getting the manifold , because their downpipe is 2.5 inch and it fits like sht and the pipe after downpipe sit waaay too low and will be scraping in the ground ( i had 1 inch of clearance) , I threw mine out and bought mandrell bent pipe 3inch and to make a downpipe it took me 45 degree bent and a little straight piece and it fits perfect , although i still have their bottom pipe but since i redid my downpipe it got it to sit much higher ( but the flex has been destroyed so i might redo that part too) , then the problem with my turbo which is gtx3582r is that it has 4 inch intake port and there is no way you can fit a filter on it without cutting stuff out , I did bought a filter and a turbo guard I took the filter part from the housing and put it over the turbo guard but that killed the performance by a lot , and I can see that filter got black in 1 week driving the car which means it sucks a lot of dirt So filter is a must , I just dont know how to run at this point because I need someone to custom make the pipe to go from turbo to the other side of the engine 4 inch to 3 inch with a sharp turn.

I had ac with cx racing manifold , I had to bend the ac lines a bit to get them off manifold because they were touching , moved it away half an inch , although I fcked up because the v band clamp from turbo rubbed through the rubber portion of ac line and it exploded on the road and the car shut off in the middle of the traffic in nyc , but a simple restart got me going tho))) Then i just deleted the ac cuz im a ***** i guess and drilled the block where ac was sitting for a turbo drain , because i had problems with drain line getting cooked from the heat and cracking , so I tapped the the drain hole( aluminum piece ) and ran 6 inch brass line from pluming store straight to the block with a little be of rubber in between to compensate for movement

Id say if you brave enough to bent a/c line at the compressor jsut to get them out of the way you be alright , but issue is running a drain to the oil pan with top mount , ive tried timing covers but i didnt find them efficient enough because everything is in the way

I have a 38mm wastegate , and no matter what spring i put in it , min boost i get 10psi , which means i gotta get a bigger gate , but the pipe to the gate is small , so maybe weld a another piece of pipe to the manifold and run another gate, but 10psi doesnt concern me , cuz im gonna go or blow 24psi

Ive bent ac line before and had 3/8 inch distance between manifold and a/c lines and 2 years no problem ,although my V band clamps on turbo rubbed through rubber part of the hose. And i dont think you should have problems taking out the manifold bolts , cuz those nuts are copper coated so they should back out easy with a stud from the head

Did anyone have issues with the turbo drain being directly over the frame rail, or any clearance issues with the second downpipe section hitting the transmission?
I threw away cx racing downpipe , its 2.5 inch and fitment is garbage , so I bought mandrell bent piping and only used 2 pieces from an assortment ive got for 180 , used a 45 degree and 1 foot straight and it fits much better than cx racing , and its a 3inch , the drain however , ive always had problems with no matter how i route it with ac in , the line would eventually kink after few heat cycles , so I delete ac completely and drilled a hole in a block and I out the drain where ac used to be , so AC never going back in same location ,but I already have a fix for that ( using a prius electric A/C unit in the corner ) And a screamer pipe goes down , and I drilled a hole in the skid plate so it shoots down , maybe ill run it in to a down pipe later

too much crankcase pressure , how much boost you hit ? 1- 10an line for me wasnt enough , it would make valve cover leak in 2 days and I had smoke out of the exhaust , then I put another 10an line to another catch can and it was gone , now smoke comes out from catch cans ( vapor since its brick af rn) , but still valve cover leaking ( aluminum one ) Idk how to end this0)))

Oil piston rings ,or oil drain for turbo isnt straight enough , Untill I drille a hole in the block I kept getting oil going past seal on a turbo , now its good ,because at the oil pan or timing cover there was too many bends . But could be oil rings if u never did them .

Actually heavy oil might make it worse , my friends car did the same thing, we tried to clean it with seafoam thinking maybe too much carbon buildup in between rings or something , once we did that it started smoking oil so much worse and it was burning it quite a lot , untill he drove it for a while and it stopped.

It's creeping but I'm not sure if it's a controller issue. I'm going to move the controller feed from the manifold direct to turbo outlet. Hits 7 quick but only gets to 10 at redline. 12% duty cycle. AEM truboost

Yeah thats how I have my boost controller set up from manifold. I have SCG 1 innvovate. I even put a bigger waste gate , that never used to happen to me before. always at 10 psi.
