I've never really seen a real good answer to this question, but would like to get some feedback.

Is it safe to install mods on your car before you take delivery? Say you order your car from a delaer that does Dinan work. WOuld it be safe to have some Dinan parts installed before you took delivery?

Also, is it safe to install performance mods during break-in?

It seems I read somewhere that it wasn't a good idea to install new intakes, exhausts, or whatever before the end of a break-in period. Is this true? Are certain mods safe and others not?

Thanks.

i dont know if it would hurt the car or not, but part of the joy of modding (especially your engine) is to actually notice the performance gains that you are looking for with these mods. i would probly wait til i was out of break-in, floor the car around and enjoy it for what it's got, then get the extra enjoyment of watching what each mod will do to your performance.

just my $0.02
