Well, I was bored tonight and didn't feel like working on my grad. school hw. So I took my 2.1 mgpix camera and took some pictures. I apologize if some of the pic. quality is bad.


First off...I finally did my calipers red 2-3 weeks ago. I used the G2 Caliper Paint Set (ordered from Wheelskin.com)

#2 is a mod that seems useless but I like it. I was bored and had some CF stickers lying around. So I did the dot on my rear windows. Sorry for the dirty window

#4 is a pic of the front grill. I had to fix my hood last week since someone hit n ran while my car was parked. So I decided to get my Hamann Kidney Grill painted the same color. It takes some time to get used to since the slats weren't painted. I should have got them done but oh wellz..Still unique :dunno:

here is an idea. Never seen anything like it but I think it would be different. Does anyone know if someone has chromed their Calipers? I think it would look kind of cool on a all black car.

Great post! Makes me want to do all those mods, lol :thumbup: The top vent body matched is a good idea, I'll have to look at my car to see how much of a different it would make.

A few questions:
1) Where did you get those CF stickers?! Interesting idea to put it on the back windows where the hydrolic thing connects.
2) How hard was it to install the Z3 Parcel Netting? Also, does it not come in Tan? The black is kind of imposing...
3) How much did the caliper paint cost (sorry, I'm too lazy to figure it out ), and how long did it take you to paint all four calipers?

Overall, great simple mods, and thanks for sharing them all with pictures!

naa, For reals. I would like to see Chromed calipers. But I think it would really only look good depending on what wheels you had. They couldn't be chrome too. That would be way over the top. But some nice rims. On a black car with chrome calipers. yea. I think that would look cool. Wish someone had a pic of those chrome ones.

Giambi,
1. You can get a roll of CF stickers from ebay. I got mine from my friend who had some left over for his lil project on his E36 back in the day.
2. The z3 parcel net is very easy. Comes w/4 screws..just hand screw them into the carpet. And NO, it doesn't come in Tan.
3. The caliper paint was like 39 bucks..42 shipped. The cheapest I've found. Took me about 12 hrs overall. I did the fronts at night and did the rears the next morning since I didn't have enough jacks to jack the whole car up. I did 5 coats on each caliper..letting it dry 15-20 min in between.
