hi i have a 2001 m3 whith mvr 19x8.5 wheels all around in the front i have 235/35/19 tires and in the rear i have 255/35/19 and i have spacers cause the original factory 19 wheels are 19x9 so i decide to add spacers to make them look good and look perfect but know i blew a tire and i saw on special 255/40/19 for the rear and i am planing to add 255/40/19 so i am undecided ,,, or stay whith 255/35/19 maybe the 255/40 can hit the fender a little the spacers are not to big only to make the wheel look better like a 19x9 wheel
thank you

Looking good. I think the M3 plate ring is a bit silly though you already have an M3 badge. The AC trunk spoiler looks good too.

wheels/tyres

I've seen plenty of 8.5x19's with 265/30's on them. Tyre specialists don't advise it, but all the pictures i've seen look fine to me. Looks like the offset is totally wrong on your rear wheels, not just the width. Don't go for the 40 profile, It'll upset the rolling diameter substantially.

If I were you try selling your wheels to someone with a standard E46 or E36 and treat yourself to a new set of MVR's with the proper sizes and offsets, - 8.5x19 front et42 with 235/35 tyres and 9x19 rear et20 with 265/30 tyres. That will look the best and you'll have a nice concave wheel dish on the rear.

Good luck.
