I honestly don't understand why people would do something like this. I mean accidents happen can't they just man up and accept responsibility? :'( Instead of bailing?

Might be able to ask some local shops to view video cams by talking to the manager and see if they can see a license plate number.

Worked for me in the past, went from not knowing who did it, to having the guy begging to not ask the police to give him a citation and will pay double the cost to fix.

If not, can probably get it pulled out by a shop.
