I did this comparison a while back using the overproduced pics of the M4 and a pretty plain red M3. This time the M3 is a bit more aggressive and the M4 isn't so fake looking.

BMW has done a nice job with the evolution. Compared to Porsche 911 which is largely the same, BMW has made the car more capable and looks more visceral in each iteration.
