Front springs will also fit like butter, BUT, M3 oem suspension sits higher then non-m and M3 also weights alot more then your 325i thus its springs will make your car look like a 4x4"

There is about 75Kg more weight in the M3. Maybe I'll need a heavier girlfriend if I do this.
Although the springs will physically fit, it's far better (for a number of reasons) to install springs which are matched for your vehicle. If you're on budget, you can get sport springs from another 325/330ci or explore alternatives such as Eibach, Koni, H&R, etc
Thanks for that info Paraklas. I was not aware how critically the suspension is matched to the car. Seems they change the springs depending on the sound system fitted amongst other things.
You are also right they were cheap so it was a cost saving idea too.
