hi in my case i got

notthing off.
dealer told me m3 is a hot car. can't keep enough of them in dealership. i got 10% off of dealership opions

salemen said to me if you don't buy it the next person will be in here in less than a day.

this was in long island new york
bobm3 ;) ;)
My dealer gave me $300 off MSRP... I'm pretty happy with the discount.
I got 6% off MSRP with options included.... equals about $3472 according to my agreement...

Yeah ... here in Belgium we can negotiate hard !!!

But then... an E46 M3 is very hot in Belgium with the young people but they can't afford it so dealers only sell about 4 or 5 M3's in a year I think.... they are happy if somebody wants one

And (older) people with money buy Mercedes.. at least in Belgium... when you see 100 cars passing you... 15 are mercedes

I did it the other way around:pimpin:

WOW lucky you. I had to talk to almost all the BMW dealers here in NJ USA and found one to give me $300 off MSRP.
newbieguy, are you talking about 330 or M3? The dealer here is offering -$1000 regardless of the options.
a friend of mine here in Mi just cold called several dealerships in Virginia and North Carolina area several weeks ago. He was able to negotiate $1500 off. He will be taking delivery at the Performance Center sometime in early May.
If you want money off, look for a good CPO M3 or a used one...The dealers don't really negotiate on the M cars because if you don't buy them, the next person will.
Edmunds.com is really a great judge of what you will pay for the car with the options etc.

Does it annoy anyone that the M3 comes kinda as a stripper car? For 48k base price it should come with a few options as in the S4. I mean like power seats, lumbar etc.

jkuper.... I'm talking about the '03 M3 not the 330. I got $2000 off MSRP for my 330ci back in 2001.

If you can afford a new one, get the new one. You have no idea what kind of a lunatic driver may have had the car before you, and who knows if they broke the engine in properly. Also, if you are gonna pay almost $60k for a car, have the exact options and color you want.
Right, I would never get that car used, even if it's CPO and has warranty.
