Sorry guys, I know you're all going to tell me to search, but believe me I have and I'm frustrated...

I messed up my car pretty decently today and I'm going to call the body shop tomorrow and ask them to install an M-Tech front bumper instead. By M-Tech, I do not mean the M-Aero kit. I want the one that looks like this:

I've read just about every thread that covers the M-Tech pre-facelift Sedan part numbers and there is so much confusion it is making me sick to my stomach.

So which one of these lists are correct, if any? Could someone please confirm the correct list or post the correct list? Also, I saw some confusion over the lower center air duct? Do I have the part I need to cover this aspect of the install?

I looked there. They only have the p/n for the entire kit for a coupe. I need just the front bumper parts for the Sedan.

I messed up the front and rear bumpers but the sides were fine so the whole kit might not be covered because there was no damage to the side skirts. I don't want to pay extra on top of what my insurance is covering.

I think you want the "M aerodynamics" as the bumper flares out a little under the fog lights as in your picture. I just bought the entire kit at a BMW dealership for my 2004 325ci and the receipt said M aerodynamik. It included the front bumper, fog lights, side skirts and rear bumper. I had to pay extra for the rear bumper insert to accomodate the single dual exhaust pipes.

The M aerodynamics kit is different for facelift and pre-facelift. For 2002+ the picture I showed you is the M-aero kit but if you order an M-aero kit for a 2001, they give you something different. Hence why I need the p/n's.

if you call pacific and tell them exactly what you need they should be able to put it together for you...

just tell them you want the m-tek II bodykit for pre-facelift sedans..

or to be even more specific.. say you want the one that's seen on the ZHP's...

ZHP is only available for facelifted cars, and the Mtek II kit changed mounting points for facelifted sedans. Therefore a ZHP Mteck II kit won't fit on a prefacelift car

hey i feel you. i have a 2002 325i and i was looking for the same front bumper. ive gotten a million part numbers and actually ended up getting the wrong damn bumper installed and painted before i even got a chance to look at it. :banghead: which i guess was partially my bad. so im also trying to look for the right one too but mine is for a facelifted one. if anyone knows the part number for the mtech II or maero kit for a facelifted sedan please let me know!!

the original mtech...(not the mtech II or aerodynamic)...for preface lift. i dunno how they managed to put that on to my facelifted car. hahaha i dunno if i should be amazed or disappointed :dunno: if anyone can help me out with the part number please let me know because i really wanna get rid of that bumper
