Here is the story. I started off buying 225/45/zr18 fronts and 255/40/zr18 rears from a guy who has an m3. Then I unmounted the tires from the rear wheels, and traded someone who had 2 front wheels. Then I went back and mounted the 255/40/zr18 tires to the rims I just traded. I put THOSE 2 wheels that I traded, to the front. I put the 225/45/zr18 wheels to the back. I only get a little rubbing when I hit a dip on the road towards the drivers side rear wheel. Even when having someone in the passenger seat, hitting the right side doesnt rub at all. It just doesnt make any sense. :hmm:
it is as if the left rear fender is skinnier then the right side rear fender. :eeps:
The fenders arent rolled.

Any suggestions?

The tires are the wrong size.

Needs to be 225/40R18 and 255/35R18. They're rubbing because the tires are too tall. The rears are going to look pretty goofy though since non-M and M e46 models run different rear offsets.
