Hello!

I've been having some issues where the car throws out 2 codes: P1636 - Throttle valve control circuit and P0102 - MAF sensor - low input. I could not get the car out of limp mode.
Replaced the MAF and code P0102 went away, but i could not find the problem with the throttle. The car stayed in limp mode the entire time.

This was until I messed about in the ECU box, where I found a connector with some tape on it. I touched it a bit and the code just magically went away when i reset it. When I moved it while the engine was running the engine stalled.

Does anyone know what this connector is for? And why would it be cut off???

Thanks for the replies.

I have no idea how to find the connector on WDS, is there an easy way to find it or am I just an idiot? There is no label on the cable or connector anywhere, and the only info on the internet I can find is that it's a permanent 12v supply. Also the car won't crank when I take the plug out.

Obviously I can always do it the old fashioned way and just follow the wires.
