We buy/use LM MoS2 additive here by the case.
To make a very long winded story short, the N55 engines have lower end bearing clearance issues. They also have a variable output oil pump installed. My best solution is to use the additive on each and every oil change.

Can also be added into any car you own. I prefer the can as you know the dosage. There's a few oils that have the MoS2 added in. It remains ambiguous as to what concentration is....

FWIW, I also use it in my high mileage Toyota Tundra.
Caveat: One can is not enough for the average BMW, you need a can and a half...

As most of you have figured out I've been doing this for some time. I've used/tried most of the oils available over the years. Price point aside; I have to say I very much respect how Liqui Moly does things. Mage in Germany, they're in constant contact wit the OEM's in Europe. The were the first in Europe (IIRC) to address the LSPI issue on turbocharged cars.

They addressed the very issue discussed here often with low drag rings, and formulated an oil to combat it: Leichtlauf 5-40.

I'm talking with their engineers 4 or 5 times a year with application and/or oil change formulations etc. and they are always willing to help. Now that most of what comes into my bays anymore is turbocharged, the L-M oils are what I use most anymore.
Great company/oil in my opinion.
(And in case anyone wonders, I'm just a regular customer. I buy it like anyone else.)

Thanks Gents! I’ll get some when I’m picking up the new Behr Pressure cap one of my colleagues at Advance Auto Parts ordered in for me this morning! Thanks again!

I’m at 114,320 and last I changed my oil was before my ABS module replacement where the ODO had stalled at 108,622. I’ve got at probably got about 6.5-7.5k on the first Mann/LiquiMoly oil change.

Is it the HENGST filter that comes with the green rings for the oil filter housing?
