so i see people spending upwards of $40+ from Umnitza and other, but

DDM does not specify its for license plate lighting, but i am pretty sure this is the correct bulb offered in LED for $4.45 each.

Anyone know if this would work correctly?
Is the size 36mm? or 39mm?

and i heard these are upwards of 8000k, i light the idea of brighter, whiter light, but damn that seems a little to bright.

anyone know of a maybe 3500k-6000k LED bulb?

You have a couple of options, you can install LED bulbs in your existing housings or go with the full housing replacements. I recommend the full housings as they are brighter, plug and play and error free. We carry the WeissLicht LED License Plate Housings which are available for the M3.

If you prefer the bulbs, we offer those as well: Jlevi SW Version 3 License Plate Lights

It's a shame Mike form F1 Autohaus isn't around. I've had his license plate LED's and reverse LED's for about 2 years now with no problems and before that I had some of his on my M3.
