I've started modding. Woo Hoo.

OK, So I moved the phone microphone so it is on the drivers side and I've painted my indicator bulbs silver. It's a start.

I want start changing the indicators and brake lights for leds. I have loads of ideas I want to try and make myself.

My question is does anyone know about wiring LEDs and the resistors I should use?

I'm sure I've read here that a dealer can disable the light blown check for the headlight when you get Xenons but can the light check be disabled for all the lights???

Any ideas would be useful. Of course I'll post photos when I do it.

most LEDs are 3V.
you will need to wire them in series if you are wiring directly to the car.
use 220ohm resistors on the end of the positive lead.
LED's have higher resistance than the incandescent bulbs. I'm quite sure you need to wire the resistors in parallel to lower the resistance so the computer doesn't think the bulbs are burnt out.

(unless you guys are talking about something else which I completely misunderstood...)
