I recently put some brake pad grease on my pads to prevent some squeaking. The pads and rotors are both relatively new, and don't need replacing.

Now I am noticing a knocking/clicking sound coming from my front right wheel. At first it sounded like a rock stuck in my tire, then almost like a nail. It is slowly getting worse, and sometimes will have a knocking sound to it, almost like something is hitting the rim or caliper.

Is there something that I may have not tightened properly or some other problem that could cause this problem?

Any help is appreciated.

Two different threads i general? Man your car does not like you right now. Tough luck :(

Have you checked that the caliper bolts are tight, the pads are positioned correctly and that the wheel bolts are tight? Since the problem wasn't there before I would double check the work you did.
